Mark Galligan – Managing Director

In November 2018 after successfully completing the $350 million re-development of Westfield Carousel, Mark established Total Retail Group. Prior to this, for 10 years, Mark was Regional Manager of Leasing and Retail Solutions for the Westfield / Scentre Group Shopping Centre assets in Western Australia. During this time Mark was instrumental in repositioning the Westfield WA Shopping Centre portfolio by establishing a number of first to market Retailers into WA and defining the project vision, retail brand planning and income feasibility analysis for the $1.2 Billion redevelopment pipeline for Westfield Carousel ($350 Million), Westfield Whitford City ($100 Million) and the proposed Westfield Stirling ($750 Million).

Prior to relocating to Perth, Mark spent over 7 years in Melbourne and held various leasing and project leasing roles with Gandel Group and Westfield where he leased a number of Australia’s largest Super Regional Shopping Centres including Westfield Southland, Westfield Fountain Gate and was Project Leasing Executive for the $700 Million redevelopment of Westfield Doncaster, which upon completion has been repositioned as one of Melbourne’s iconic Super Regional Malls and is now the Victorian flagship for Scentre Group.

Mark’s in depth experience and knowledge of the retail and Shopping Centre industry extends also to Queensland and Canberra. Early in his career Mark gained significant Shopping Centre Management experience in various management roles where he was responsible for 14 Shopping Centres across both metropolitan Brisbane, Regional Queensland and Canberra between 1995 and 2001.

Mark is recognised as a leader within the shopping centre and retail industry, with highly effective negotiation skills that have resulted in adding significant value to a diverse range shopping centres and retail precincts throughout Australia. He is a motivated and a passionate leader, who has exceptional Retailer relationships, that have resulted in many “first to market” transactions and Retailer expansion throughout Australia.
